Recently, millions of people in Hong Kong took protests to the streets against the extradition bill that would allow criminal suspects to be extradited to mainland China, under certain circumstances. These protests have inspired people around the world as the youth have had a huge presence in the city’s protest movement.
The Practice of Administrative Leadership and Service (PALS) – NCPAG proudly presents an Alternative Classroom Learning Experience forum titled “Smashing the Great Wall: What the Philippines Can Learn from the Hong Kong Protests.”
This ACLE aims to provide an overview on the history of Hong Kong and China, the role and importance of its government, and the role of youth during the city’s protest movement.
Join us in discussing the Hong Kong protests and what the Philippines can learn from it on October 16, 2019 from 1PM – 4PM at the NCPAG AVR, UP Diliman.
See you there!
