The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) recorded a 100% passing rate at the 2021 Agriculturist Licensure Examination. All of its 59 takers passed the board exam.

Out of 236 universities, only UPLB qualified as a “top performing school,” with at least 50 examinees and a passing rate of higher than 80%. 

Meanwhile, only 1,172 out of 3,927 or 30% of the examinees passed the exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Thursday.

UPLB’s Vivian Espique Timple was the third-highest scorer in the exam, with a score of 85.50%.

Meanwhile, Ella Hazel Barbarona Estrada of the Visayas State University – Baybay topped the batch with a score of 86%. Following in second place is John Carlos Daga-ang Boyles from the same university who scored 85.83%.

The PRC administered the examinations in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, San Fernando, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga from November 9 to 11.
