Inaprubahan na ng Commision on Higher Education o CHED ang limited face-to-face classes program ng University of the Philippines Diliman.

Ayon sa UP Diliman Information Office, opisyal na na tinanggap ng UP Diliman ang certificate of authority mula sa CHED para sa reopening ng campus sa pagsasagawa ng limited face-to-face classes, internship at clerkship.

Sa guidelines ng UP-Diliman sa nasabing programa na na-aprubahan nitong Nobyembre, higit sa tatlong-daang magtatapos na mag-aaral mula sa ikalawang semestre at midyear ng Academic Year 2020-2021 ang pinayagang dumalo sa nasabing programa sa Enero 2022.

Kasama sa mga tumanggap ng certificate to authority mula kay CHED-NCR Director Virginia Akiate ay sina UP-Diliman Chancellor Fidel Nemenzo, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs Maria Theresa Payongayong, CHED Supervisor VIctor Emil Castello at Professor John Robert Medina ng UP-Manila College of Public Health.

Labing-walong kurso naman mula sa College of Science (CS), College of Home Economics (CHE), College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) at College of Music (CMu) ang nakatanggap ng nasabing certificate of authority.

Natanggap ang pagbigay ng greenlight mula sa CHED nitong Martes, ika-21 ng Disyembre, 2021. DZUP
